Mr. James’ Weekly Reflection – 03 September

Dear Nadeen Family,
As we finish another fantastic week at Nadeen, I want to thank you for your continued support with the changes to learner entry, exit, and our safety procedures during drop-off and pick-up. As shared in my earlier email, please remember:
- Do not use mobile phones while driving.
- Use the crosswalks when walking your children into school.
- Avoid parking in the drop-off zone.
These simple steps ensure the safety of our whole community, reflecting our shared value of “Concern for Society.”
This week, Mr. Chawki and his team organised special activities in Arabic and Islamic Studies to mark the upcoming Mawlid Nabawi (the Prophet’s Birthday). I was so impressed by the beautiful posters celebrating the Prophet’s teachings and values, which decorated both the learner and main entrances this morning. It was a real joy to open the doors and be greeted with such warm messages and hospitality, including dates shared by our Arabic department and Secondary learners. Thank you to the team and to all of you who contributed and got involved.

Looking ahead, on Thursday, October 10th at 3pm, we warmly invite you to join the Dilmunia Annual Cancer Awareness Walkathon. Please use the event link here to sign up and take part in this important cause.
In sports, this week marked the start of our BSME trials for U11, U13, and U15 teams. It has been fantastic to see so many of our learners display confidence, skill, and energy on the pitch. We’re excited to continue with Week 2 of trials next week. Additionally, we proudly launched our inaugural Year 3 and 4 Swim Squad, giving our younger swimmers the chance to train more frequently and develop their talents.
We are asking parents to complete a short Start of Year Parent Survey to hear how the school year has begun for your child and family. Your feedback helps us strengthen communication, support, and leadership as we work together to make this year a success. This is the first of two surveys, the next will be in October, so we can reflect and make improvements together. Thank you for taking part and sharing your perspective.
Please complete this survey by September 9th 2025.
Thank you, as always, for your support and partnership.
