Mr. James’ Weekly Reflection – 12th June

Dear Nadeen Family,

Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful Eid break filled with rest, joy, and special moments. It’s been lovely hearing stories from many of you about your travels and celebrations. Thank you for sharing them with me. The warmth and energy you’ve brought back with you has been uplifting.

With this being a short week, there isn’t a great deal to report, but what a way to return! Today’s Nadeen’s Got Talent show was nothing short of magical. It was an explosion of creativity, confidence, and community spirit. I want to give a huge congratulations to all of the performers who took part. From soulful singing and captivating dance routines to expressive piano pieces, expert guitar playing, and an impressive flag recognition challenge, every act brought its own spark to the stage. The sheer joy and bravery on display was inspiring.

It was also a real pleasure to be invited to join the judging panel alongside our exceptional Head Boy and Head Girl, Armin and Ela, as well as Miss Shanee and Miss Pauline. Miss Pauline, who continues to be a cherished part of the Nadeen story, has already promised she’ll return next year to judge again, and I’ll certainly be holding her to that!

A special shout out must go to our very own Mr. Chris, who brought the house down with a heartfelt song. What a finale! I was, as I always am at events like these, completely in awe. The courage, talent, and joy radiating from our learners reminds me once again what a truly special community this is.

So many of the High Performance Learning Values, Attitudes, and Attributes (VAAs) were on full display today: confidence, perseverance, creativity, and concern for society, to name just a few. These are the qualities we champion at Nadeen, and seeing them shine on stage was a powerful reminder of why we embrace the HPL philosophy.
