Mr. James’ Weekly Reflection – 19th June

Dear Nadeen Family,
What a wonderful and inspiring week it has been at Nadeen!
The week began with the opening of our Secondary Art Exhibition, currently on display in the first floor Gallery area. If you haven’t had a chance to visit yet, I warmly encourage you to stop by and see the incredible talent of our learners on display. A huge thank you to everyone involved in bringing this exhibition to life, especially Ms. Rien for her dedication and creativity in arranging such a beautiful showcase.
A big thank you also goes to the Friends of Nadeen for their unwavering support throughout the year. It was such a pleasure to enjoy a lovely coffee and catch-up with you all this week. Having such a positive, engaged group of parents who care deeply about our school is a real privilege. Your support, both to me personally and to the school, has been truly appreciated and made a real difference.
This week also saw the Year 5 and 6 performance of Alice in Wonderland and wow, what a show it was! Every learner performed with such confidence, joy, and talent that the entire audience left smiling. The hard work, collaboration, and enthusiasm on display were simply outstanding. I’m already looking forward to next week’s performances with great anticipation.
We were also pleased to welcome Dr. Noor Almozan into school this week to speak with parents about skincare and staying safe in the sun. It was an informative and timely session, especially as we move into the summer months, thank you, Dr. Noor!
Finally, today we held our Year 6 to Year 7 transition morning, and it was fantastic to see the excitement and curiosity among our Year 6 learners as they prepare for the next chapter in their educational journey. Mr. Paul shared how impressed he was with their confidence and ability to articulate how they enjoy working together in their learning and there was a real buzz of energy and positivity in the air.
Wishing you all a restful and happy weekend.
