Mr. James’ Weekly Reflection – 4th June

Dear Nadeen Family,

What an incredible week it has been at Nadeen School!

I am absolutely delighted to share that following our engagement in the HPL High Performing School Award Scheme, Nadeen School Bahrain has officially been accredited and awarded the status of an HPL High Performing School. Even more remarkably, we are now the first and only HPL-accredited school in Bahrain. This is an amazing testament to the dedication, vision, and relentless hard work of our entire school community. I am super proud of this and cannot thank my team enough for all they do for the learners and community.

The accreditor was particularly impressed by how we’ve embraced and embedded the HPL philosophy through our very own ‘WoLFpack’, a unique and deeply meaningful initiative inspired by Nadeen’s wolf symbol. This approach truly captures the spirit of our school: united, nurturing, and committed to excellence. ‘Jan commented that there is such a strong sense of togetherness here at Nadeen’. As a school family, we don’t just talk about belonging, we live it every day, and we actively celebrate the growth and success of each individual, both academically and personally.

This week also brought a heartwarming reminder of our community’s generosity and values. It was lovely to welcome Mr. Paul and Mr. Mahmood from the BSPCA to Nadeen and present them with a cheque for 3,000 BD, raised through various events over the year. This is an incredible cause, and we’re proud to support the vital work the BSPCA does to protect and care for animals in need. They rely heavily on financial support, and it’s truly meaningful to know that our efforts as a community can make a real difference – https://www.bspca.org/

And as if that weren’t enough to celebrate, this week also saw one of the most impressive and joyful events of the year, our Shrek performance. I don’t know about you, but I was absolutely blown away! Performing on stage takes courage, creativity, and confidence. These are qualities that our learners showed in abundance. I’m so incredibly proud of each and every learner who took part. The way they brought the characters to life, the energy, the humour, the joy #magical.

Huge thanks must also go to the dedicated team behind the scenes who supported our learners and made this performance a reality. The effort, time, and passion that went into preparing for this show were nothing short of phenomenal. The teamwork, the rehearsals, the details! It certainly all came together in such an awesome way. Thank you!

This week has reminded me, yet again, of the extraordinary things we can achieve when we come together as a WoLFpack. Here’s to continuing this amazing journey, side by side, supporting one another, and celebrating every success along the way.

I wish you a lovely Eid break.
