Mr Paul’s weekly Secondary Reflection – 22nd May

Dear Nadeen School Community,

As we wrap up another successful week, I am excited to share some of the highlights from our secondary school that truly showcase our commitment to excellence and community engagement.

This week, we hosted a successful Year 6 to Year 7 transition meeting that provided valuable insights for parents of our incoming Year 7 learners. It was heartening to see so many parents engaged and eager to learn about the exciting opportunities that await their children. Our dedicated staff outlined the curriculum, extracurricular activities, and the supportive environment we foster here at Nadeen. This meeting not only informed but also reassured parents as their children prepare to embark on this important new chapter.

Our Year 7 and Year 8 coffee mornings were another highlight of the week, bringing together parents and teachers for meaningful discussions and debates. It was a wonderful opportunity for parents to connect and share their thoughts on their children’s experiences. The dialogue was vibrant, reflecting our community’s commitment to collaboration and support. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to these enriching conversations.

We were thrilled to announce this week the launch of two exciting secondary school trips! Our upcoming ski trip to Tonale, Italy, promises adventure and camaraderie on the slopes, while our Eco Adventure trip to Sri Lanka will provide an immersive experience in environmental stewardship and cultural exchange. These trips are designed to broaden our learners’ horizons and enrich their educational journey. Please contact Mr Matt for further details.

As we continue to develop and grow our secondary school, we are proud to be expanding our iGCSE offerings, ensuring that learners have access to a diverse range of subjects tailored to their interests and career aspirations. Looking ahead, we are also excited to announce plans for a Post 16 provision set to open in the 2027/28 academic year. This provision will offer A-level courses and pathways designed to prepare our learners for top universities around the world, further enhancing their academic and personal growth.

This week has been a testament to our community’s dedication and the vibrant opportunities we provide for our learners. Thank you for your continued support and engagement as we work together to make Nadeen School a nurturing and inspiring place for all.

Kind regards,

Mr.Paul

Vice Principal
