This week at Nadeen | 5 February 2026

It’s been a busy and proud week at Nadeen, filled with achievement, community moments and exciting opportunities for our learners.

Let’s begin by celebrating our outstanding mock examination results, which marked an important milestone for our learners and wider school community. These outcomes reflect not only strong academic progress, but also the High Performance Learning framework in action, particularly our learners’ developing Advanced Cognitive Performance (ACP) characteristics and Values, Attitudes and Attributes (VAAs).

Throughout the mock examination process, learners demonstrated resilience, perseverance, responsibility and a commitment to improvement, alongside key ACPs such as planning, metacognition, linking learning and responding constructively to challenge and feedback. Supported by high-quality teaching and purposeful guidance, learners were able to reflect meaningfully on their performance, identify precise next steps and engage in productive learning conversations with their teachers. This reflective approach ensures they are not only academically prepared, but also equipped with the learning behaviours and thinking skills needed as they move confidently towards their final IGCSE examinations.

Today, learners took part in our first Quran competition, an experience that supported the development of focus, confidence and discipline while engaging with an important part of their cultural heritage. The competition encouraged dedication, respect and excellence, values that extend well beyond the event itself. Thank you for all the lovely emails we have received.

We were honoured to be joined by our esteemed guests, His Excellency Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and Dr. Fatima Al Blooshi. We were also pleased to welcome representatives from the Ministry of Education’s Education Supervision Centre: Dr. Khalid Ahmed Ateef, Mohammed Al-Badoor, AlHussain Ebrahim, and Faheema Abdulla Haji, along with Eng. Hisham Mohmoud Sherida, Director of the Engineering Services and Investment Department at the Muharraq Governorate.

We would also like to extend our appreciation to Dr. Samer Malas of Oasis Medical Center for generously sponsoring the competition gifts and supporting this initiative.

In sport, our learners are competing at the BSME U11 Games White event in Muscat. We are always proud of how they represent Nadeen, demonstrating teamwork, resilience and great sportsmanship.

This afternoon, we are looking forward to coming together as a community for our school picnic, a chance to relax, connect and enjoy time together. You will also get a chance to visit our organic garden and pick some veggies to take home.

Next week promises to be just as exciting as we build on Nadeen’s long-standing commitment to sustainability, global responsibility and future-focused learning. We are proud to be hosting TeachMeet: The AI Edition, the Bahrain Eco-Summit, and celebrating International Week. Together, these events reflect our history of championing environmental awareness, ethical innovation and global citizenship, offering meaningful opportunities for our community to engage with real-world challenges, celebrate cultural diversity and continue learning well beyond the classroom.

Also don’t miss our Year 3 learners chocolate truffle sale this Sunday at 2pm, raising funds for charity through a wonderful enquiry-based learning project.

Thank you to our learners, families and staff for another meaningful week of learning, connection and community at Nadeen.
