This week at Nadeen | 23 April 2026

Dear Nadeen family
It has been another positive and productive week across our campus, with routines settling in and our community continuing to reconnect. There is a real sense of momentum building as learners engage with their learning, friendships flourish and the rhythm of school life continues to strengthen.
Primary update from Ms. Lianne
It has been a truly exciting and uplifting week of learning across our Primary and Early Years departments. We have been delighted to welcome even more learners back to school, and it has been wonderful to see their energy and enthusiasm as they continue to develop their writing skills.
A particular highlight has been the return of our WOLF of the Week celebration assemblies, bringing together both our online learners and those in school. The Performance Theatre was filled with joy and excitement as we reconnected and celebrated achievements as one community, even across distances.
Looking ahead, there is much to anticipate. Plans are already underway for House Sports competitions, Science Week and Nadeen’s Got Talent, promising many more moments of creativity, collaboration and celebration in the weeks to come.
Secondary update from Mr. Paul
It has been wonderful to see so many more Secondary learners return to school this week. The warmth and sense of togetherness between staff and learners has been incredibly rewarding to witness.
Please look out for details of two exciting trips planned for the next academic year: a Kenya Community, Marine, and Safari expedition, and our annual ski trip. Further information can be found in the newsletter links.
Thrive update from Ms. Suzanne Â
This week, our Thrive learners marked World Eco Day by launching our Adopt a Plant programme – a hands-on, sensory experience. The learners engaged very well, developing their understanding of how to care for the environment in a meaningful and practical way. Mr Saleem, who looks after all the plants at Nadeen, led the sessions – we are such a green school!
The aim of this programme is to provide a hands-on, sensory learning experience for our Thrive learners, in line with the Green Education Programme in Bahrain, encouraging our children to develop a sense of responsibility and connection to the world around them. Go Green!
Below you will find a few important reminders and updates for the week ahead.

Bus Service Update
We are pleased to share that the Almoayyed bus service will recommence from Monday, 4th May.
Second Hand Uniform Call Out
We would like to encourage families to support our Second Hand Uniform initiative by donating any preloved uniform items. This not only supports one another but also helps us reduce waste and care for our environment.
If you have any good-quality uniform items that your child has outgrown, please drop them off at Main Reception. Thank you for helping us make a positive and sustainable impact together.
Parent Dress Code Reminder
We would like to gently remind all members of our community of our parent dress expectations while on campus. We ask that attire remains modest and appropriate, in keeping with our school values and cultural context. Â
