This week at Nadeen | 16 April 2026

Dear Nadeen Family

There is something truly special about seeing our campus brought back to life. Watching our learners return and our classrooms and corridors once again filled with energy, curiosity and connection has been a powerful reminder of what makes Nadeen so special.

Primary

This week has been a truly positive and uplifting one for our school community. It has been a joy to welcome everyone back to primary school; the sound of children’s laughter and the excitement of reconnecting with friends have brought the school back to life.

As we settled back into routines, there has been a strong sense of togetherness across the school. Our staff have worked thoughtfully to ensure a smooth transition, creating a calm and supportive environment for all learners. We recognise that returning may feel exciting for some and overwhelming for others, and we have focused on providing reassurance, patience, and care to help every child feel safe, valued, and confident.

Secondary

School just hasn’t been the same without the laughter-filled corridors and the buzz of the classrooms. So to have our classrooms come back to life when our secondary school learners returned to school this week has been an unbelievably rewarding feeling. We have had over 100 learners attending in-school classes each day and we have all loved having them back. We can’t wait to welcome more of our families next week as we continue our phased return to school.

Thrive

Since reopening on the 6th of April, we’ve already completed several joyful days with our Thrive learners. They have returned to their small groups, where connection has flourished, strengthening their social and communication skills. They have been collaborating, engaging in music and movement and participating in hands-on learning in English and Maths. Today we wrapped up the week with a celebration. It’s great to be back.

Family Club

As we continue to adjust to the new secondary timings, we wanted to share a small update about Family Club.

From Sunday, Family Club will come to an end as the revised finish time now allows siblings to leave together at 2.15pm.

Primary learners who have siblings in secondary will remain in their designated classrooms until 2.15pm. They can then be collected either by their secondary sibling or by a parent or carer.

Primary learners without a sibling in secondary should continue to be collected at the usual end-of-day time.

We understand that changes to routines can take a little adjustment and we truly appreciate your continued flexibility and support.

Bus Service Update

As we look ahead to next week, please note that the school bus service will not be operating.

Almoayed Transport sent out a message earlier today to confirm whether your child will require their services. This information is essential to support the efficient planning and eventual resumption of bus services.

We understand that this may require additional planning for families and we sincerely appreciate your patience and flexibility.

Eastern Bakery

We are delighted to share that Eastern Bakery will be returning to campus from Sunday. Our learners can once again enjoy their favourite snacks and treats during the school day. Please remember to top up your child’s card in advance.

We are incredibly thankful for the trust you place in us and for your constant encouragement. The Nadeen community is defined by its unity and heart and we are grateful for the support you continue to give.

Wishing you a peaceful weekend ahead.

Warm regards,

Team Nadeen
